Iowa State University
Locals receive dean’s list
honors
Three New Lenox students
were recently named to the
dean’s list at Iowa State
University for the spring
semester.
William McCarthy Crimmins,
a senior animal science
major; Alexis Elizabeth Derk,
a junior chemical engineering
major; and Kyle Joseph
Small, a sophomore genetics
major, were named to the list.
Students named to the
dean’s list must have earned
a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0
scale while carrying a minimum
of 12 credit hours of
graded course work.
More than 8,149 Iowa
State University undergraduates
were named to the spring
semester dean’s list.
Millikin University
New Lenox students receive
degrees
Four New Lenox students
graduated from Millikin University
May 22 at Decatur
Civic Center.
Kayla Annette Bryant
graduated cum laude with a
degree in chemistry.
Heather Nicole Janel graduated
with a degree in music.
Madeline Lerrice Katcher
graduated magna cum laude
with a degree in music performance-instrumental.
Tyler Arlen Peck graduated
with a degree in music
business.
Quincy University
New Lenox student named to
dean’s list
Jacquelyn Taylor Farbak,
of New Lenox, was recently
named to the dean’s list at
Quincy University for the
spring semester.
Honorees must earn a semester
GPA of at least 3.5 on
a 4.0 scale to be included in
the biannual dean’s list.
