G20 Summit 2014<br />

ID Warehouse partnered with Thales to help provide the Event Management System (EMS)<br />

for the G20 Summit 2014.<br />

The G20 Summit held in Brisbane on the 15-16 November 2014 had approximately<br />

40,000 attendees. ID Warehouse supported Thales to ensure the security of the meeting<br />

venues with minimum inconvenience to the G20 delegates. The EMS provided registration,<br />

accreditation, physical security access control and event information management.<br />

A major contribution ID Warehouse provided to ensure the safety and security of the<br />

summit was the RFID access control system, enabling secure access to the event site and<br />

surrounding areas for people and vehicles.<br />

The access control system comprised of:<br />

• RFID software which securely stored<br />

and managed attendee and vehicle<br />

authorisation information;<br />

• Walk-through RFID access control<br />

portals that physically allow or disallow<br />

admittance into event sessions;<br />

• Handheld RFID scanners for mobile<br />

scanning, all working seamlessly<br />

together to provide secure person and<br />

vehicle accreditation.<br />

In addition, ID Warehouse also<br />

supplied:<br />

• RFID adhesive vehicle access passes<br />

• RFID access cards and encoders<br />

• Fargo HDP5000 PVC card printers to<br />

personalise attendee access cards<br />
