Purpose of<br />
this Report<br />
This report seeks 1 <strong>to</strong> show how the<br />
provision of mental health services<br />
and support in Enfield look, through<br />
the eyes of local people who use them.<br />
Based on two years of engagement<br />
work, the document offers local<br />
professionals involved in the planning<br />
and delivery of mental health<br />
services, including GPs, further insight<br />
in<strong>to</strong> some of the issues experienced<br />
by residents of Enfield. Underpinned<br />
by the evidence base, Healthwatch<br />
Enfield’s recommendations do not<br />
only give local people a strategic<br />
voice but can also be utilised <strong>to</strong> form<br />
a base for action planning <strong>to</strong> enhance<br />
provision of mental health services<br />
across the borough.<br />
The report also highlights a few<br />
examples of good practice, which may<br />
help provide a focus, around which<br />
local people and professionals can<br />
engage <strong>to</strong>gether.<br />
