Scraper Mats – feature tough, abrasive surfaces to 

aggressively remove dirt, mud and grime. Scraper Mats 

are available in both indoor and outdoor styles. 

RESILIENCY 

Resiliency – high elasticity reduces strain on legs and

WIPER 

MATS 

Wiper Mats – are made with a carpet top or fibre 

surface designed to remove dust, dirt and moisture 

from shoes. Usually better suited for indoor use.

Why Choose Anti-Fatigue Matting? 

The use of well designed, ergonomic anti-fatigue matting can help 

reduce sprains and strains on joints (Body Stressing), and reduce the 

event of costly compensation payouts and employee downtime. As 

classified by the Australian Safety and Compensation Council, body 

stressing is the direct cause of injuries or disorders resulting from stress 

placed on muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones. In an ASCC report on 

compensated workplace injuries, body stressing represented 42% of all 

compensated injuries and fatalities in the workplace with a median of 

4.4 weeks of worker time lost due to injuries. This also resulted in an 

average direct cost of $6,200 per injury. 

Anti-fatigue mats function by encouraging the subtle movement of leg 

and calf muscles. As the muscles contract and relax they pump blood 

back to the heart and eliminate blood pooling in the lower extremities, 

which often occurs if a worker’s muscles are totally static. This 

circulation reduces the chance of strains and sprains usually 

experienced when one stands for prolonged periods of time.
