Running a legal practice requires not only a strong grasp of the law, but also the skills to run<br />
a business. The details of running your office — marketing & social media, human resources,<br />
client care, finances, and sales — on top of practising law can be overwhelming, and may<br />
require you to draw on skills that were not necessarily part of your legal education. Offered<br />
in partnership with the Schulich School of Law, this program, taught by experienced leaders<br />
from legal practice and Faculty in the Rowe School of Business, will develop the practice<br />
management skills you need to keep your business competitive and growing.<br />
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN<br />
In Nova Scotia, each practising member of the NSBS is required to complete and implement<br />
an annual professional development plan. Individual modules in the Law Practice<br />
Management Program can be applied to the annual professional development plan.
