A Look Back
Our group support programs run from October to May each year. At the conclusion of the program, we ask the participants
to take a look back at what God has done in their lives over the last year. Some of their reflections are below.
I Learned…
My feelings matter to God and I can share them with others without fear of rejection.
I am enough and I don’t need to hide my true self to be accepted by others.
Clean Heart Year 2
I am a beloved son and am not forsaken because of my sin. Honesty with myself, God,
and others is foundational to my growth.
Clean Heart Year 1
I have grown in my ability to be open about myself and with my wife.
Clean Heart Year 1
I am worthwhile! My worth does not depend on men.
Hope Together Year 1
I also have issues/sin that God wants to work through in my life.
Hope Together Year 1
It is ok to feel the feelings I was experiencing.
Hope Together Year 2
God is in control of everything and how to sit and listen to God when He talks to me.
Mending The Soul
I can share my testimony without fear of condemnation. He has put a longing in my
heart to be a help to others that struggle with sexual brokenness.
Mending The Soul
A lot about addiction and what effect a pornography addiction has on my brain, and
how rewiring the brain is a part of the recovery.
Clean Heart Year 1
To take responsibility for my stuff and what my responsibilities are in my healing.
Clean Heart Year 1
How to grow my relationship with God.
Thank God for Mid-Valley Fellowship. I don’t think we would still be together
if it weren’t for this amazing program and what we've learned.
Hope Together Year 2
Through counseling and the Clean Heart program I came to realize the deep
seated issues. The material that was presented was timely and very life
changing. The counseling was professional and positive.
