Kids aged 9-14 can take part in Sandown Sports<br />

Camp this summer holiday. Activities include skiing,<br />

ringos, squash, street dance, water wars, foot-golf,<br />

racquetball, gym challenges and team building<br />

exercises. Run by professional coaches across three<br />

days, kids can learn new skills, have plenty of fun<br />

and be in the chance of winning a package prize to<br />

Now in its 10th year, Weyfest at the Rural Life<br />

Centre is <strong>Surrey</strong>’s biggest music festival, with four<br />

stages and fun for the entire family set in 10 acres of<br />

woodland. Attractions include a light steam railway,<br />

Sci-Fi zone, kids zone, laser quest and much more.<br />

This two-day countryside event will be held on<br />

a huge show ground on Sunday 28 and Monday<br />

29 <strong>August</strong>. This year, children can take part in the<br />

Edenbridge and Oxted Show for free, and visit<br />

animals and creatures of all shapes and sizes. Meerkats<br />

are making an appearance for the first time this year,<br />

along with huge spiders, snakes, cuddly chinchillas,<br />

scuttling scorpions and a magnificent Bearded<br />

Dragon, not forgetting all the favourite features of a<br />

Take to the skies...<br />

Wings and Wheels returns to Dunsfold Aerodrome<br />

on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 <strong>August</strong> to celebrate<br />

its 12th show. The diverse five-hour air displays are<br />

guaranteed to leave audiences wowed, and if wheels<br />

are more your thing, then take a look at the super<br />

and classic car displays. Wander the huge arena and<br />

discover military treasure from over 80 stalls, take part<br />

in laser quest or paint balling and enjoy the musical<br />

A comedy of manners...<br />

On Wednesday 17 <strong>August</strong> at 7pm visit Hatchlands<br />

Park for an evening of Regency wonderment, as<br />

Elinor and Marianne Dashwood make their first<br />

forays into eighteenth century society. Follow their<br />

story in this outdoor production of Sense and<br />

Sensibility by Chapterhouse Theatre Company.<br />

Refreshments will be available for purchase, but<br />

audiences are encouraged to bring along a picnic<br />
