Andre Cuenoud<br />
It truly came as a shock when we heard that Andre Cuenoud had a<br />
stroke and was in <strong>the</strong> hospital. A recent visit showed what a wonderful<br />
attitude Andre displayed. He is recuperating wonderfully and is getting<br />
lots <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>rapy. Please mail cards to his home address. It was great see-<br />
ing Andre at <strong>the</strong> recent Christmas party.<br />
Ruedi Strasser<br />
It is with great sadness that we have to in<strong>for</strong>m <strong>you</strong> that Ruedi<br />
Strasser has passed away a few weeks ago. Our prayers are<br />
with Mary, and please send cards <strong>of</strong> call her. <strong>The</strong> picture<br />
shows Ruedi and Mary at <strong>the</strong> Octoberfest.<br />
Today I had a great time at our wonderful <strong>Swiss</strong> club Christmas party. At my table we were wondering why<br />
Charles Ch<strong>of</strong>fat, a long time member and card player (Jasser), didn’t come to <strong>the</strong> party. On <strong>the</strong> way home I decided<br />
to check up on him atthis home. He was home alone with his cute little kitten as <strong>the</strong> sole companion.<br />
Charles can’t walk well and can’t drive, and since he didn’t get many Christmas cards last year, he thinks this year<br />
he’ll get even less. Being a moldy oldy myself I feel sorry <strong>for</strong> our friend and I wonder if some <strong>of</strong> <strong>you</strong> would be so<br />
kind and send him cards and tht ay he won’t feel so <strong>for</strong>gotten.<br />
