As you know the State Government has declared Pittwater a natural disaster zone and you just have to look at the impact to understand why. I would like to sincerely thank all emergency service crews, our volunteers and Council staff who banded together to attend emergencies and begin the enormous clean-up. The neighbours who pitched in to assist each other demonstrates the goodwill amongst us. Council is coordinating a disaster clean-up plan. Details are on our website. The courage and mateship shown in that war and in all subsequent wars and military efforts underpins us as Australians. I’d like to who continue to battle the effects of war. To the RSL, Legacy and other volunteers who give their valued support – thank you. Lest we forget. As you are aware, Council has spent some time gathering evidence-based information in order to respond to the NSW Government’s ‘Fit for the Future’ local government reform process. As you know the State Government has declared Pittwater a natural disaster zone and you just have to look at the impact to understand why. I would like to sincerely thank all emergency service crews, our volunteers and Council staff who banded together to attend emergencies and begin the enormous clean-up. The neighbours who pitched in to assist each other demonstrates the goodwill amongst us. Council is coordinating a disaster clean-up plan. Details are on our website. The courage and mateship shown in that war and in all subsequent wars and military efforts underpins us as Australians. I’d like to who continue to battle the effects of war. To the RSL, Legacy and other volunteers who give their valued support – thank you. Lest we forget. As you are aware, Council has spent some time gathering evidence-based information in order to respond to the NSW Government’s ‘Fit for the Future’ local government reform process. There are now more than 220 registered Bushcare volunteers caring for over 40 bushland reserves within Pittwater. Another 400+ volunteers regularly participate in Bushcare events such as ‘Asparagus Fern Out Day’, ‘Bushcare’s Major Day Out’ and planting events such as National Tree Day.
