(Autographs- Saturday, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm, Greenway Room) Ryan Reynolds
For more than a decade, anime has had a fan in Ryan Reynolds. When she got the opportunity to
do some voice work at Funimation Entertainment it was like a dream come true for her.
Ryan’s big break came when she was given the chance to voice Latvia in a little show called Hetalia
– Axis Powers. Since then she has voiced such characters as Etoile in The Heroic Legend of Arslan,
the younger version of Gray Fullbuster in Fairy Tail, Toto Sakigami in Deadman Wonderland,
Satoru Wamiya in Red Data Girl, and Chikage Izumi in Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero.
Along with voice acting, Ryan also works by day as an Art Director for a marketing agency in Dallas and earned a degree in
Theater from Northwestern State University.
Briana Lawrence and Jessica Walsh (Autographs- Visit Their Artist Table)
14 years ago Briana Lawrence (Brichibi Cosplays) and Jessica Walsh (SnowCosplays) were two
fanfiction writing ladies who geeked out over Gundam Wing boys and Resident Evil. Now? They’re
still geeks and still have their fandoms, but they’re also a cosplaying couple who write books,
make crafts, and are generally nerdy women. Snow is the seamstress of the couple, meanwhile,
Brichibi talks about issues in the cosplay community and how the most important thing about
cosplay is to love yourself and have fun. Together, they also have a book series and each woman
has individual works that range from books to freelance writings for places like Apex Magazine,
xoJane, WatchMojo.com, Twin Cities Geek, and more.
When going to conventions they always bring their best so that they can promote their work. You can enjoy their crafts,
get lost in their urban fantasy series, or heck, you can come by for a hug and fun conversations about cosplay, anime, or
video games. Always promoting positivity and always supporting one another, Brichibi and Snow are smiling their way
through the geek scene.
Alex Bledsoe
Alex Bledsoe grew up in west Tennessee an hour north of Graceland (home of Elvis) and twenty minutes from Nutbush
He now lives in a Wisconsin town famous for trolls, writes before six in the morning and tries to teach my three kids to act
like they’ve been to town before. His novels include the Tufa series (the latest, “Chapel of Ease,” will be out in September)
and the Eddie LaCrosse novels (most recently, “He Drank, and Saw the Spider”).
