<strong>Best</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> title<br />
among amusement parks<br />
It’s little surprise that <strong>the</strong> Sign of <strong>the</strong> Happy Clown<br />
cont<strong>in</strong>ues to sh<strong>in</strong>e brightly <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> hearts and m<strong>in</strong>ds<br />
of Charleston Gazette-Mail readers, who have once<br />
aga<strong>in</strong> selected Camden Park as <strong>the</strong>ir favorite amusement<br />
park dest<strong>in</strong>ation.<br />
As well as be<strong>in</strong>g a longtime repeat w<strong>in</strong>ner <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>Best</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> ballot<strong>in</strong>g, Camden Park has enchanted<br />
generations of visitors <strong>in</strong> its century-plus of<br />
existence on 26 acres just a short drive from Hunt<strong>in</strong>gton<br />
and scarcely an hour away from Charleston on<br />
Interstate 64.<br />
Camden Park offers so much to see, do and create<br />
memories from every summer season that it is easy to<br />
see why it is a perennial readers’ favorite. The showcase<br />
Big Dipper roller coaster has provided heart-rac<strong>in</strong>g<br />
thrills for more than 50 years. Concerts, a variety<br />
of games on <strong>the</strong> midway and more than two dozen<br />
