Recommendation Class Level Reference<br />
An LVAD should be considered in<br />
patients who have end- stage HFrEF<br />
despite optimal medical and device<br />
therapy and who are eligible for<br />
heart transplantation in order<br />
to improve symptoms, reduce the<br />
risk of HF hospitalization and the<br />
risk of premature death.<br />
