Active physiotherapy on
special machines
Minimum space requirements:
If you want to offer active device-based physiotherapy
an additional space of at least 30 qm
is needed. In case of more machines beside the
minimum selection of physiotherapy machines,
the space requirement has to be increase by the
necessary space of the additional machines. Please
consider a minimum safety area of 100 cm around
each machine and a minimum height of 250 cm.
Minimum selection of physiotherapy machines:
• Universal pulley machine, double (two universal
pulley machines beside each other with a distance
of approximately 100 cm as a possibility
for simultaneous training of both body halves)
with training bench
• Functional weight lift
• Angled table or rear trunk lift
• Vertical traction machine
All equipment used in the practice must meet the
requirements of the Medical Products Act (MPG) in
the current version. In addition, the Medical Devices
Directive (MPBetriebV) and other safety regulations
have to be fullfilled.
