Born on the 24th April, 1940, Apostle Hayford Alile briefly attended the University of Ibadan as a 

Scholar in Physics and thereafter proceeded to Howard University, Washington D. C., where he 

earned his B. A. degree in Economics and Mathematics. He later attended Rutgers Graduate School 

of Management, New Jersey, USA for his MBA programme before proceeding to the Harvard 

Business School where he bagged his AMP. 

Apostle Alile’s rich working history began as an Economic and Financial Consultant to Louis Berger 

Inc, East Orange, New Jersey, USA in 1968. Between 1969 and 1972, he served as Assistant 

Director, Rutgers University Entrepreneurial Development Centre, New Jersey and Rutgers Minority 

Investment Co. Inc. Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, 1972 – 1973. In 1973, he returned to Nigeria to 

head the Management Consulting Department of the Centre for Management Development, Lagos, 

and was from there he was appointed in 1976 as the Executive Director/CEO of the then Lagos Stock 

Exchange (LSE). He later became the Director-General and Chief Executive of The Nigeria Stock 

Exchange in 1979. He retired from that position in 1999 and was in the same year appointed to the 

Board of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He subsequently joined the Boards of the Nigerian Security 

Printing and Minting Co. Plc, and the Central Securities & Clearing Systems Limited (CSCS). 

At the Centre for Management Development, he was responsible for the establishment of the Institute 

of Management Consultants (IMCON) and the Nigerian Association of Management Consultants 

(NAMCON). He currently holds the underlisted Chairmanship positions, namely:

Nigeria Students (NUNS) 1963/64 and the Treasurer/Trustee of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) 

between 1984-1996.

Dr. Joseph Oladele Sanusi, former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (1999 – 2004), a colossus

Accountants of Nigeria in 1969. He was elected Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Bankers in 1987. 

Prior to his professional qualification as an accountant, he attended South West London College, 

London, Kingston College of Technology, between 1962 – 1965 and later became an alumni of the 

prestigious Harvard University, Boston, USA in 1983. 

He started his professional career with J. H. Hugil & Co, Chartered Accountants in London and later 

moved to Consolidated Pneumatic Tools & Co. between 1963 – 1964 as the company accountant. 

He returned to Nigeria and joined the Board of Customs & Excise as an Accountant in 1966.He began 

his career in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 1966 as Deputy Manager Accounts, and rose to 

become a Departmental Director in 1977, before being appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer 

(CEO) of the Security & Exchange Commission from 5th May 1978.Dr Sanusi’s other notable

and Settlement of transactions in the stock market. It operates a computerized depository, clearing

Solution 

The application was developed on Microsoft ASP.Net platform with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 as the 

database server. It is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Employing this technology ensured scalability and 

extendibility of the application.
