Technologies Ltd. A graduate of Computer Science from the University of<br />

Lagos and also a holder of Master’s Degree in Business Administration<br />

(MBA) from the University of Wales Cardiff, UK and MSc Corporate<br />

Governance & Finance from the Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool<br />

UK.<br />

He is an entrepreneur specializing in finance, ICT and new business<br />

developments which have contributed immensely to the successful<br />

<strong>company</strong> has been involved in more than 25 Public offers as<br />

Stockbroker/Financial Adviser in the Nigerian capital Market worth more than<br />

Apostle (Dr.) Hayford Ikponmwonsa Alile, OFR, NPOM – ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER<br />

Born on the 24th April, 1940, Apostle Hayford Alile briefly attended the University of Ibadan as a<br />

Scholar in Physics and thereafter proceeded to Howard University, Washington D. C., where he<br />

earned his B. A. degree in Economics and Mathematics. He later attended Rutgers Graduate School<br />

of Management, New Jersey, USA for his MBA programme before proceeding to the Harvard<br />

Business School where he bagged his AMP.<br />

Apostle Alile’s rich working history began as an Economic and Financial Consultant to Louis Berger<br />

Inc, East Orange, New Jersey, USA in 1968. Between 1969 and 1972, he served as Assistant<br />

Director, Rutgers University Entrepreneurial Development Centre, New Jersey and Rutgers Minority<br />

Investment Co. Inc. Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, 1972 – 1973. In 1973, he returned to Nigeria to<br />

head the Management Consulting Department of the Centre for Management Development, Lagos,<br />

and was from there he was appointed in 1976 as the Executive Director/CEO of the then Lagos Stock<br />

Exchange (LSE). He later became the Director-General and Chief Executive of The Nigeria Stock<br />

Exchange in 1979. He retired from that position in 1999 and was in the same year appointed to the<br />

Board of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He subsequently joined the Boards of the Nigerian Security<br />

Printing and Minting Co. Plc, and the Central Securities & Clearing Systems Limited (CSCS).<br />

At the Centre for Management Development, he was responsible for the establishment of the Institute<br />

of Management Consultants (IMCON) and the Nigerian Association of Management Consultants<br />

(NAMCON). He currently holds the underlisted Chairmanship positions, namely:<br />

Nigeria Students (NUNS) 1963/64 and the Treasurer/Trustee of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC)<br />

between 1984-1996.<br />

Dr. Joseph Oladele Sanusi, former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (1999 – 2004), a colossus<br />

of international repute and exposure with presence in virtually every sector of the Nigeria economy,<br />

qualified as a Certified Accountant, London, in 1965 and became a member of Institute of Chartered<br />

Accountants of Nigeria in 1969. He was elected Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Bankers in 1987.<br />

Prior to his professional qualification as an accountant, he attended South West London College,<br />

London, Kingston College of Technology, between 1962 – 1965 and later became an alumni of the<br />

prestigious Harvard University, Boston, USA in 1983.<br />

He started his professional career with J. H. Hugil & Co, Chartered Accountants in London and later<br />

moved to Consolidated Pneumatic Tools & Co. between 1963 – 1964 as the <strong>company</strong> accountant.<br />

He returned to Nigeria and joined the Board of Customs & Excise as an Accountant in 1966.He began<br />

his career in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 1966 as Deputy Manager Accounts, and rose to<br />

become a Departmental Director in 1977, before being appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer<br />

(CEO) of the Security & Exchange Commission from 5th May 1978.Dr Sanusi’s other notable<br />

The Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) was incorporated on July 29, 1992 as a subsidiary of The<br />

Nigerian Stock Exchange. It was commissioned on April, 1997 and commenced operations on April 14,<br />

1997. It is a limited liability <strong>company</strong> which was incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission. It<br />

was licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission as an Agent for Central Depository, Clearing<br />

and Settlement of transactions in the stock market. It operates a computerized depository, clearing<br />

settlement and delivery system for transactions in shares listed on The Nigerian Stock Exchange.<br />

Goals and Objectives of the Web Portal<br />
