CHILDREN’S TAE-KWON-DO<br />

We know you can never get enough peace<br />
of mind when it comes to your child's<br />
safety. Your child will have fun punching<br />
and kicking to their heart's content, making<br />
friends, building self-confidence and<br />
learning self-defense. Classes are ongoing<br />
and are paid for on a monthly<br />

GOLF LESSONS<br />
Grades 3 to 8<br />
Are you ready for spring? Grab your golf<br />
clubs and come on over to the <strong>Chaska</strong><br />
<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Center</strong>’s artificial turf for<br />
golf lessons specially designed for kids<br />
and young adults! Have fun learning the<br />
FUNdamentals of putting, chipping and<br />
sand play while playing games and participating<br />
in drills. We will have friendly<br />
competitions playing mini putt and chipping<br />
courses set up by the golf instructors.<br />
Bring your clubs if you have them,<br />

AMERICAN RED CROSS Babysitting Clinic<br />
This American Red Cross class is for youth age 11<br />
and older. It prepares a babysitter for what every<br />
parent wants, including safety, basic child care,<br />
safe play, first aid and critical emergency action<br />
steps. Upon completion of the course a certificate<br />
is issued. Cost includes Red Cross babysitting<br />
handbook (new edition with DVD), certification<br />
and instruction. You only need to attend one session.<br />

Birthday Parties<br />
Are you looking for something<br />
different for your child’s<br />
birthday party? Kathleen Theship-<br />
Rosales has created individualized<br />
pottery projects that are perfect<br />
for your next party! Projects may<br />
include painting tiles, individualized<br />
mugs, clay sculptures and<br />
more! If you are interested please<br />
call Kathleen at (952) 361-9691 or<br />

Kathleen will help you coordinate<br />
a date. After a date is coordinated<br />
you will be responsible for reserving<br />
the Wet Craft Room at the CCC<br />
front desk. Room rental is $10 per<br />
hour for CCC members and <strong>Chaska</strong><br />
residents and $15 per hour regular<br />
rate. Cost of the pottery party is<br />
$15 per child for clay, glazes,<br />
instruction and firing (minimum<br />
five children). Pieces will need to<br />
be picked up at a later date.<br />
Estimated project time is 30 to<br />
40 minutes.<br />
CLAY PLAY POTTERY WORKSHOP<br />
Ages 5 to 12<br />
Come in and fight off those winter blues.<br />
Come join a three-day workshop to make<br />
clay animal sculptures and decorative<br />
bowls. We make the pieces and glaze<br />
them each day. Wear old clothes, we<br />
get messy.<br />
