St. Coletta Shops is a project of St. Coletta of Greater Washington, a nonsectarian, nonprofit 

that serves children and adults with intellectual and multiple disabilities in the Washington, 

DC area. Every item we sell is designed exclusively for St. Coletta and handmade in the 

USA by artisans with disabilities. 

People with disabilities often have difficulty finding employment that will offer them 

the support they need to be successful. St. Coletta Shops provides our participants with 

individualized support and training. The skills they learn working for the shops – time on 

task, following directions, working with a team – are skills they can transfer to other jobs.

Ordering instructions 

To order your handcrafted piece, please visit www.stcolettashops.com. 

Shipping policy 

St. Coletta Shops currently ships exclusively through the United States Postal Service and 

offers two shipping options. We only ship Monday through Friday. Orders placed on 

Friday after 4:00 pm through Sunday night will be processed on Monday. 

• Priority – 2-3 days, depending on destination and drop off times. 

The post office does not guarantee this time frame. 

• Express – Overnight. Please allow one day for processing. 

• At this time we only ship within the United States. 

• The cost for shipping is based on total weight of your order and distance shipped. 

Last date to ship 

The last day to order to guarantee delivery by Christmas Day is December 18, 2016. 

After this date it is recommended that you use Express/Overnight delivery and again, the 

post office does not guarantee the time frame. 

Return policy 

St. Coletta Shops takes pride in all the items we make and sell, and we are confident you 

will be pleased with your unique item. Due to the handmade nature of our products, 

slight variations in each piece may occur. However, if you are not completely satisfied, we 

will accept returns/exchanges within 30 days of purchase. All items returned in original 

condition and in original or equal packaging will be refunded or exchanged minus 

shipping charges. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. All items must be returned 

unworn/unused. Before returning an item, the buyer should contact St. Coletta Shops via 

e-mail (shops@stcoletta.org). Due to the delicate nature of our gift items, it is encouraged 

that the buyer purchase postal insurance when returning an item via USPS. If the item 

arrives back to the warehouse broken, the buyer will not be refunded.
