DAY 2 Reykjavik. Your
morning guided sightseeing
drives by all of Reykjavik’s
famous landmarks. Pass the
presidential residence of
Bessastaðir and then on to the unique view point at PERLAN (the Pearl),
built atop the city’s geothermal hot water reservoirs. See the sports and
recreation area of Laugardalur; HALLGRIMSKIRKJA CHURCH; the Old
Town center; and the Icelandic parliament building, Alpingi. Your Local
Host has suggestions for your afternoon at leisure, such as a visit to the
Volcano House or the whale exhibition.
DAY 3 Reykjavik. Your vacation ends with breakfast this morning. (If
traveling westbound back to North America, why not consider the Blue
Lagoon prior to your evening flight?)
