A Barrel of Fun and Fine Spirits<br />
bar is as good as its owners. If that saying is<br />
A true (and it sure seems it is), Whiskey Beach<br />
is a real fun place. Meeting with Judi and Jerry<br />
turns into an afternoon of laughter and good<br />
times. Hospitality and positive vibes rule the establishment,<br />
and the fact that they have an amazing<br />
collection of the finest whiskeys seems to be<br />
more of an after-thought. Not so for whiskey connoisseurs,<br />
for them this bar is a paradise!<br />
Judi and Jerry opened Whiskey Beach on September 2nd,<br />
2014 after two months of intense renovation. And Jerry is<br />
the man who knows how to get things done - legally, professionally<br />
and quickly. That’s because he is a contractor<br />
and owns several successful businesses in the area: CDA<br />
Solutions, HPW Windows and Doors, Allison’s AC and<br />
Electric, Scrappy Recycling, and a few more. Enterprising<br />
is “his thing” and he has fun from start all the way<br />
to the bank. How did they get the idea to open a bar?<br />
Here comes Jerry’s huge smile and some intonation in his<br />
voice: “Well, I have been drinking in bars ever since I was<br />
ten years old ...” We are cracking up. Judi blushes a bit<br />
and says, “He’s joking. Stop it, Jerry”, but can’t help to<br />
laugh. And that’s pretty much how the conversation went<br />
on. Here’s the story in a nutshell:<br />
Both, Judi and Jerry grew up in Miami, that’s where<br />
they met 26 years ago and became - best friends. And<br />
if opposites attract, then here they are: Judi worked in<br />
the education system with Charter schools in Broward<br />
County; Jerry started his enterprising which brought him<br />
