(Based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula)
Time: Late 1800’s
Location: Transylvania and London, England
ACT I
Count Dracula and his mistress vampires
awaken to the stillness of the night. Meanwhile,
life in London is blissful for friends Mina
and Lucy who have love on their minds. Mina,
a young schoolmistress, is engaged to her
adoring fiancé Jonathan. Vivacious Lucy has
many suitors to choose from. They all share a
dance together before bidding farewell to
Jonathan, a real estate solicitor, who is going
to Transylvania to finalize a sale with the
Count Dracula. (Need to say anything about
Dracula coming to London?)
In celebration of the signing of the business
deal, Dracula hosts a ball in true Transylvania
fashion. Trapped inside Dracula’s castle,
Jonathan is defenseless against the bloodthirsty
ball guests. Jonathan, injured and
delirious, escapes from Dracula’s castle. He
takes refuge in a convent where nuns cleanse
and heal him. Mina comes to be with Jonathan
where they are united in
marriage.
Lucy, cursed with sleep-walking, falls asleep
on a bench in the village. Count Dracula, on
route to see his new property in London, can’t
help but get a taste of the young
seductress. Lucy becomes victim to Dracula’s
will. Left cold and weak, her Mother and
Mina come to her aid. Dr. Van Helsing tries to
save her, however nothing can keep Lucy
from her fate. Her suitors attempt to save her
life by giving her a blood transfusion.
15-Minute Intermission

ACT II
The undead Lucy haunts the children playing
near the graveyard. Mortified by her resurrection,
her suitors realize they must kill her or be
killed. The residents of London mourn Lucy’s
death. They vow to kill Count Dracula while
Mina offers herself as a lure. Ultimately, Count
Dracula resists the urge to completely solidify
Mina’s fate as a vampire because of her
unique beauty and innocence. Jonathan
interrupts the two, which leads to Count
Dracula’s killing spree in a fit of rage.
Dracula realizes he is outnumbered and flees
London. All are on the hunt to find and kill the
vampire. They battle to the death…
In the end will good prevail over evil?
years at the Istanbul University Conservatory of
Academy of Dance. Soon after, he was asked to
dance in The Nutcracker with BalletForte as an
Arabian. As the years progressed, more roles such as Chinese
and Snow Prince were added to his repertoire. Resonating in his
memories are the haunting roles of the Wolf in Peter and the
Wolf, the Rat King in The Nutcracker, Von Rothbart in Swan
Lake, and Dr. Coppelius in Coppélia. Although Jeiron began
dancing later than most, he endeavors to learn a full gamut of
variations. He has attended several FBAD summer intensives as
well as the Craft of Choreography Conference in 2004 and
2007. He feels honored to have danced with the Royal Ballet in
their production of The Sleeping Beauty in 2007. He appeared
in BAHBT’s production of The Sleeping Beauty in 2014, as a
guest artist, and is happy to return for their production of Dracula
in 2016. Jeiron is grateful to be dancing with such talented
