Suggested Itinerary 

Day 1 

Fly to San Francisco where a guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in 

San Francisco. In the evening you will have free time. 

Day 2 & 3 

Over these two days, you will visit the 

following important sites: 

• Stanford University*, where Bill Gates, 

Steve Jobs and many more crafted their 

trade 

• HP Garage, noted as the first tech 

startup in the Silicon Valley 

• Computer History Museum, widely 

regarded as the best in the world. 

• Intel Museum 

• NASA’s Ames Research Center, home to 

many space missions and even moon 

rock 

• Googleplex (Google headquarters) - 

please note you cannot access the 

headquarters, but can usually walk 

around some of the campus. 

• Steve Jobs Garage - to see where Apple 

was founded by Steve Jobs 

• Apple Infinite Loop original headquarters 

and the newly constructed $5bn Apple 

Campus with Visitor Centre 

• The Tech Museum of Innovation 

• It is possible to driveby some of the 

world’s largest tech company HQs 

including eBay, Linkedin, Adobe and 

more. 

*Tours of Stanford University are led by 

students. Please note at certain times due 

to the academic year, there are no students 

to conduct tours; in such cases a self-guided 

walking tour will have to be conducted. 

Day 4 

Today you have a free day to explore San 

Francisco. Visit to the infamous Alcatraz 

prison for an opportunity to experience 

the legendary island that was a civil war 

fort, then military prison before becoming a 

federal prison. 

Day 6 

Arrive back in the UK. 

Day 5 

Check out of the hotel and enjoy some free 

time for your own programme in San Francisco. 

(You can leave luggage at your hotel). 

Meet your coach and transfer to San Francisco 

airport for your return flight home.

Day 1 

On arrival you will be transferred to your 

accommodation where you can check in 

before heading back out for a visit to the 

Game Science Centre Berlin, an interactive 

museum that will allow you to learn about 

and try out a range of new technologies 

being implemented into games from Virtual 

Reality to movement & voice based input. 

Following this your group can take a trip to 

the German Museum of Technology which 

offers a broader overview of the evolution 

of technology over the years in all industries. 

Day 3 

Day 3 will give you the chance to visit a 

functioning BMW factory which produces 

over 700 vehicles every day. The 2.5hr tour 

will take you around the workshop which 

specialises in motorcycle production and 

learn what goes in to creating them as well 

as the machines used to assemble the final 

product. 

Day 2 

Day 2 starts with a visit to the Computerspiele 

Museum that celebrates the history 

and culture of gaming. With a collection 

that spans decades from the very first most 

basic machines through to the games we 

enjoy today. Next up is a trip to Humboldt 

University to visit their Computer Museum 

of CASE, a special collection of retro machines 

and early models that have been 

preserved and stored in the universities 

collection. 

Day 4 

Your last day is free to do as you please, 

many of our groups will use this day to see 

explore Berlins rich culture. Some great 

examples are visits to the Reichstag or the 

TV Tower which offer spectacular views 

of berlin’s landscape. After this you will be 

transferred to the airport for your return 

journey.

Day 1 Day 2 

En route to London, you will visit the fantastic 

Centre for Computing History and enjoy a 

fantastic workshop focusing on a number of 

exciting Computer Science topics. After this 

educational visit, take a breath-taking view 

of London’s skyline as you take flight on the 

London Eye. Then proceed to our selection 

of restaurants, such as Pizza Express, Hard 

Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood and enjoy a 

group evening meal (contact us for full meal 

options). Once your group has refueled, why 

not visit a West End theatre show and enjoy 

one of London’s top performance? Proceed 

to your accommodation for check-in after an 

eventful day. 

After your breakfast, check-out of the hotel 

and make your way to one of London’s top 

museum, such as the Science Museum. After 

lunch, travel home via the famous Bletchley 

Park and visit the National Museum of Computing. 

Following this, make your way back
