1Dr. Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon, loses the use of
his gifted hands after a car accident. Desperation leads
him to The Ancient One, supernatural guardian of Earth.
2Expecting physical treatment, Strange instead finds a
center for healing that is the front line of a battle between
the Masters of the Mystic Arts and forces bent on destroying reality.
3Strange must choose whether to return to his life of fortune
and status or leave it behind to defend the world as the most
powerful sorcerer in existence.

En route to becoming the new Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor
Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world
and what lies beyond.
5Strange utilizes a dizzying array of metaphysical abilities and
artifacts. The Cloak of Levitation gives him the ability to fly.
The Eye of Agamoto allows him to manipulate probabilities.
6Kaecilius, a sorcerer, is the primary antagonist of Doctor
Strange. Philosophical disagreements with teachings of The
Ancient One led him to defect from the rest of the sorcerers.
7Villains in the film are known as The Zealots, who have
become seduced by what they have found in another
dimension.
8Doctor Strange, created by Steve Ditko, debuted
in March 1963 in the comic book “Strange
Tales” (#110).
9Stephen Strange lives in a spellprotected
building known as the
Sanctum Sanctorum.
CGI effects may remind
