engineered an improved antifog technology <strong>for</strong> film used in fresh produce packaging.<br />
<strong>Ampac</strong> has been a long time supplier of surface printed antifog OPP film with controlled per<strong>for</strong>ation <strong>for</strong><br />
vegetables. From a market need, and through the ef<strong>for</strong>ts of a strong technical team, <strong>Ampac</strong> developed<br />
coated films with superior antifog properties that help prevent condensation <strong>for</strong> heat sealable films. Unlike<br />
other technologies, the new antifog coating technology has excellent seal and hot tack properties and does<br />
not impact the coefficient of friction (COF) of the films, while providing improved transparency <strong>for</strong> fresh<br />
produce.<br />
In addition, the features and per<strong>for</strong>mance of the antifog coating works in conjunction with tailored<br />
per<strong>for</strong>ations in the film to control the respiration rate of different vegetables. This creates a unique<br />
