Tutti Per L'Arte

Francisco Reis was born in 1992 in Porto, Portugal and started his
musical training in the Porto’s Music Conservatory in 2001, finishing in
2010 with the highest qualification.
He is currently doing a Degree in Piano at ESMAE ("Escola Superior de
Música e Artes do Espectáculo") under the guidance of Professor
Madalena Soveral, having initially started with Pedro Burmester.
Among other tutors who played an important role in his coaching as a
chamber musician are Radu Ungureanu, Ryszard Woycicki and António
Saiote.
In addition to this, he was also granted a prize (Margarida Brochado) that
allowed him to make his debut performing with an orchestra in 2010,
playing Liszt's First Piano Concerto.
Renowned pianists with whom he has worked with include Luiz Moura
Castro, Miguel Borges Coelho, Helena de Sá e Costa, Sequeira Costa,
Akiko Ebi, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Zoltán Kocsis, Elisabeth Leonskaja
and Eldar Nebolsin.
He’s part of “Tutti Per L’Arte” Orchestra since 2013.
He has won several prizes in contests around Portugal and Spain, having
distinguished himself with the first place in Florinda Santos
International Competition (Portugal, 2008), Fundão's International
Competition (Portugal, 2008), Maria Campina International
Competition (Portugal, 2010) and in Ibiza's International Competition
(Spain, 2008) as well. In Ciutat de Carlet International Competition
(Spain, 2009) he won the second place and in Ricardo Viñes
International Competition (Spain, 2009) third.
