out the country. It was the
first meeting altogether, the
first exchange of ideas, solutions
and perspectives in
real time, the first steps together,
towards a promising
future.
The main discussions of the day

revolved around the current market
situation: where everybody stands,
where AD Auto Total stands, what
we should do in order to overcome
difficulties.

AD: the driving force behind many garage networks
When AD brought together a
number of independent garages
in the early ‘80s under
a single banner, which was
“Centre AD Pro” (in France), it
laid the foundations for what is
currently the largest network
of independent repairers: AD
Garage.
An AD Garage doesn’t only get the excellent
service of the AD wholesaler in its
region, but also support in management,
sales, training, marketing and communication.
Communication is provided to
it by a national marketing team, and is
supplemented by ‘marketing tools’ of AD
International: the European AD Garage
guide, the multilingual AD garage website
(11 languages) with a ‘locator’ (‘find
4600 AD Garages in 16 countries

and the International Warranty on Parts
and Labour.
The growing demand for a ‘garage concept’
in combination with the already optimal
coverage of AD Garage in certain
regions, was the reason behind a number
of ADI partners starting up an additional
network that enables the coverage
to be improved still further, and more
customers to be offered specific support.
So the beginning of 2008 saw the launch
in Poland of AutoPrimo, which had been
developed successfully over many years
in France (AutoPrimo now has 1400 repairers
in France, 255 in Poland and already
a few in Italy!).
