than letting it be. The mind has no control over the moment<br />
and so it fears for its security, since the mind always clings<br />
towards comfort; towards what is safe and known.<br />
We can never know the present moment because it is<br />
too alive, too vast, too fluid and changing to comprehend.<br />
Every moment in time that passes adds an inconceivable<br />
amount of new causes and effects to the flow of energy<br />
and matter that simply aren’t and can’t be understood by<br />
our brains and their limited sensory perception.<br />
The Universe is a flow that is constantly vibrating,<br />
dancing, and changing. We have to go along with the flow<br />
of life in order to be at peace. We cannot resist the flow of<br />
life and expect to be happy. Resistance to life only makes<br />
us suffer.<br />
Allow life to unfold in whatever way that it pleases.<br />
You do not need to control anything; everything happens<br />
on its own. Remain centered in your awareness where<br />
peace is always available. Give up your sense of control<br />
and allow the Universe to take its natural course.<br />
In order to heal the past and the conditioned behavior<br />
that it has produced, we need to practice being aware of<br />
life in this moment. When we are present to life, we have a<br />
deep understanding for what needs to be done at each<br />
moment in time. We are aware of ourselves and our<br />
surroundings, and we are not distracted or separated from<br />
life by our overthinking minds.<br />
There is plenty of information about mindfulness and<br />
mindfulness practices that you can do, but remember that the<br />
words are not the real thing, and reading about mindfulness is<br />
not the same as practicing mindfulness for yourself.<br />
To practice mindfulness, you have to be mindful.<br />
Meaning you have to be aware of life as it is happening<br />
now. Observe this moment without judging it or trying to<br />
define it with your mind.<br />
Try sitting silently for a few minutes. Start by breathing<br />
slowly and deeply to relax your mind and connect with<br />
your body. Then, after a few moments of deep breathing,<br />
