REGISTRATION<br />

Conference registration includes a delegate badge and conference<br />

bag, participation in pre-conference events, all scientific sessions,<br />

access to the exhibition area and the poster exhibition, and an<br />

invitation to the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, 26 October.<br />

The WHO Global Tuberculosis Symposium on Tuesday, 25 October<br />

is free of charge for registered conference delegates. If you plan to<br />

only attend the Global TB Symposium, you register for at least one<br />

conference day.<br />

Workshops/Post-graduate courses:<br />

Post-graduate courses and workshops take place on Tuesday 25<br />

and Wednesday 26 October.<br />

It is possible to register only for a post-graduate course on-site.<br />

The fee for each course is 100 euro for both course-only and<br />

conference delegates. Workshops are free of charge for delegates,<br />

s seating is limited.<br />

If you are not registered for the conference, workshops cost 100 euro.<br />

The registration area is located in the Galleria at the entrance<br />

of the ACC Liverpool.<br />

Cancellation conditions<br />

As of 1 October 2016, no refunds are given.<br />

All refunds will be made after the conference.<br />

Transfer of registration – Change of name<br />

All requests to transfer a registration from one person to another must<br />

be submitted to the Conference Secretariat in writing and are subject<br />

to an 80 euro administration fee.<br />

Lost badge<br />

Please report lost badges immediately to the Registration Desk.<br />

Replacement badges will be issued upon presentation of ID<br />

and are subject to a 40 euro administration fee.<br />

Certificate of attendance<br />

A certificate of attendance will be given to delegates upon completion<br />

of the post-conference evaluation.<br />

Delegates wishing to include the title of the session they have<br />

attended or contributed to in their certificate of attendance should<br />

send their request to scientific@theunion.org after the conference.<br />

Photography<br />

Registered delegates give their permission forThe Union’s<br />

official photographer and videographer, as well as attending media,<br />

to photograph them within the 47 th Union World Conference<br />

on Lung Health for subsequent use in Union internal and external<br />

promotional material.<br />

Press: Credentialed press representatives will be taking photographs<br />

and videotaping portions of the conference.<br />

Other photography: Delegates are entitled to take photographs<br />

of the conference for their own personal, educational and/or<br />

advocacy purposes.<br />

The Union will not be liable if delegates object to being photographed<br />

in these circumstances.<br />

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION<br />

The Liverpool Convention Bureau has been appointed as the official<br />

housing bureau of the 47 th Union World Conference on Lung Health<br />

and is offering you an opportunity to book accommodation in a<br />

selection of Liverpool’s hotels at negotiated rates.<br />
