Welcome Drinks (Sponsored by Tetris)
All 300+ trip attendees reconvened on the afternoon of the first
day over a few complimentary drinks at Bar360, a chalet
restaurant-bar with outdoor terrace overlooking Val Thorens,
exchanging stories from their first day on the slopes and
watching the sun set before heading back down the mountain for
supper and drinks.
Mountain Meal (sponsored by Paragon Building Consultancy)
The majority of trip attendees pre-booked tickets to this event;
a meal in a restaurant up the mountain, followed by a skidoo-led
flaming torch descent taking them back to Val Thorens. The meal
consisted of 3 courses, wine, speeches, introductions and some
inevitable singing. Following the meal there was an auction and
raffle with £1,000’s raised for charity partner LandAid.
PropSki Race Day(sponsored by Macdonald & Company)
This event saw 90 entrants in the timed individual ski and
snowboard slaloms in the morning, followed by a team dual
slalom in the afternoon. The day was a huge success with those
spectating tucking into complimentary vin chaud at the base of
the slope as they watched competitors racing head to head for
the PropSki silverware, sponsored by JLL, GVA, Freedman’s Law,
MJ Mapp and Goldcrest Land, along with a wide array of prizes
from Salomon and Oakley.
Mountain Challenge (sponsored by REVCAP Advisors)
An orienteering exercise interspersed with challenges and a
treasure hunt, which was well attended by 100+ participants.
Prizes included Salomon skis and snowboards, top of the range
Oakley goggles and an abundance of Kudos.
