Fairs team have hand selected stands selling everything from<br />

contemporary and vintage homewares, garden accessories and<br />

gifts to unique jewellery, clothing and the best artisan food<br />

Visual Artists have a wonderful exhibition at<br />

the historic Godinton House. This is a unique<br />

opportunity to view and purchase handmade<br />

and professional, original artwork varying<br />

from ceramics, jewellery, textiles and prints to<br />

paintings, sculpture, felting and even painted bird<br />

High Street Spree...<br />

The Tenterden <strong>Christmas</strong> Market will run for<br />

three days this year from Friday 25 to Sunday<br />

27 <strong>November</strong>, after overwhelming numbers of<br />

visitors last year. Stalls will be located throughout<br />

the high street, offering food, drink, children’s<br />

rides and activities at each end of the market.<br />

Following a devastating fire at their chosen<br />

charity St Michael’s Hospice, Wardsbrook<br />

Concerts have decided to hold a concert in<br />

<strong>November</strong>, held at Milton Court Theatre in<br />

London on Monday 7 <strong>November</strong>. This year’s<br />

concert will present a quartet of renowned,<br />

world-class artists including Louise Alder, Ann<br />

Murray, Toby Spence, Sir Thomas Allen and<br />

Julian Milford. The varied programme will<br />

include Bernstein, Cole Porter, Fauré, Schumann,<br />

folk songs and lots of Mozart. Tickets are being<br />

World of Words...<br />

This year’s festival takes place from Friday 18 to<br />

Sunday 27 <strong>November</strong> and begins with the switch on<br />

of the Folkestone Creative Quarter <strong>Christmas</strong> Lights.<br />

Folkestone Book Festival will present an eclectic<br />

line-up of speakers with talks exploring art, science,<br />

food, history, mental health, fiction and much more.<br />

The Cranbrook Art Show will showcase the work<br />

of local professional artists, and this year, new<br />

Vestry Hall will be filled with paintings, prints,<br />

photography and drawings from Thursday 10 to<br />
