Primary Research Area: Nanotechnology/Microtechnology
Keywords: polymer, Catalytic, materials
Research program: We introduce the crystal engineering approach to supermolecular structure and catalyst
synthesis. Microsphere supports with various structure and surface groups have been prepared by emulsion
polymerization or templated synthesis. Abundant catalysts have been obtained and used to develop the
environmentally friendly oxidation system.
Research facilities available: Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry; In situ Fourier Transform Infrared
Spectroscopy; Shared user facilities at USTB- Electron microscopy center, National Metal Research Center
Research partners needed: Research partners needed Expertise in functional materials synthesis and
characterization
