Research program The Effective Virtual Environments (EVE) research group at UNC-Chapel Hill focuses on
improving Virtual Environment (VE) systems, including making locomotion interfaces more natural, reducing and
mitigating system latency, and developing and evaluating systems for user applications.
Research facilities available Laboratory with high-precision 3rdTech HiBall 3000 tracker with an active area of
nearly 10 square meters.
Research partners needed We welcome technology development and application collaborators. Collaborators’
needs drive our research. Recently, we have worked on military training and physical therapy applications.
