Ingredients<br />

1. Cardamom-3 nos<br />

How to prepare<br />

2. Cloves-3 nos<br />

1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cloves,<br />

cardamom and cinnamon. Saute for a<br />

few seconds.<br />

3. Cinnamon stick-1 “ piece<br />

4. Whole black pepper-8 to 10 nos<br />

5. Ginger,finely chopped- 1.5 tsp<br />

2. Add green chillies, ginger and sliced<br />

onions. Sauté on medium heat for 2<br />

minutes or till the onions are transparent<br />

and soft.<br />

6. Garlic,finely chopped-1.5 tsp<br />

7. Green chilies,cut vertically-2 to 3<br />

3. Add the curry leaves and all the<br />

vegetables, salt and water. Cover and<br />

cook on low heat for 15 minutes or till<br />

the vegetables are cooked.<br />

8. Onion ,sliced-1 large<br />

4. Add coconut milk. Simmer on very<br />

low heat (so that the coconut milk does<br />

not curdle) for about 1 minute(s).<br />

9. Curry leaves-2 sprigs<br />

10. Carrot,cubed- 1 medium<br />

11. French beans,cut into 1” pieces-5<br />

to 6 nos<br />

Mild and flavorful vegetable<br />

stew usually served with<br />

palappam or rice.<br />

Vegetable stew is cooked with<br />

the goodness and flavor of<br />

coconut milk.<br />

Preparation Time : 15 Mins<br />

Cook Time : 30 Mins<br />

Serves : 3 - 4 people<br />

12. Green peas,frozen or fresh-1/2<br />

cup( see notes)<br />

13. Potato,cubed- 1 medium<br />

14. Thin coconut milk-1.5 cups<br />

Serve hot for better taste<br />

15. Thick coconut milk-1/2 to 3/4 cup<br />

The dish is so yummy that it tastes like you never want to stop. The thick<br />

coconut milk makes it more juicy and good for health. The vegetable<br />

stew is so simple to prepare with less ingredients and easy cooking.<br />

Mild and flavorful vegetable stew ,usually served with palappam or rice.<br />
