Meeting Venue<br />

The conference venue is <strong>the</strong> Hilton Molino Stucky. All<br />

conference sessions will take place in this location.<br />

Satellite Meeting<br />

Satellite Meeting registration fees include access to <strong>the</strong> full<br />

day meeting with refreshment breaks and a buffet lunch. If<br />

you are staying at <strong>the</strong> Hilton Molino Stucky, a full buffet<br />

breakfast is included in your room rate.<br />

Annual Meeting<br />

Annual Conference registration fees include access to all<br />

sessions including panel, individual and poster sessions.<br />

Registration also includes daily refreshment breaks, grazing<br />

lunches and <strong>the</strong> Opening Dinner. If you are staying at <strong>the</strong><br />

Hilton Molino Stucky, a full buffet breakfast is included in<br />

your room rate.<br />

Additional Tickets<br />

Tickets can be purchased separately <strong>for</strong> your guests and/or<br />

children <strong>for</strong> all conference excursions, <strong>the</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Garcia<br />

Honoring Dinner and <strong>the</strong> Opening Dinner. If you are not<br />

staying at <strong>the</strong> Hilton Molino Stucky, breakfast vouchers <strong>for</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> El San Juan breakfast buffet can be purchased<br />

separately <strong>for</strong> all registrants and <strong>the</strong>ir guests. These<br />

additional tickets can only be purchased from <strong>the</strong> staff at<br />

NCM’s Registration Desk.<br />

Name Badges<br />

Your name badge is your admission ticket to <strong>the</strong><br />

conference sessions, c<strong>of</strong>fee breaks, meals, and Opening<br />

Dinner. Please wear it at all times. At <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Conference we ask that you recycle your name badge in<br />

one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> name badge recycling stations that will be set<br />

out, or leave it at <strong>the</strong> Registration Desk.<br />

To help identify and mentor our future investigators,<br />

student delegates have red edged badges. All o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

delegates have clear badges. NCM Officers and Board<br />

Members, Exhibitors and Staff will be identified by<br />

appropriate ribbons.<br />

Dress Code<br />

Dress is casual <strong>for</strong> all NCM meetings and social events.<br />

The NCM Registration and In<strong>for</strong>mation Desk, located in <strong>the</strong><br />

foyer, will be open during <strong>the</strong> following dates and times:<br />

Message Board<br />

For your convenience, a Message Board will be located<br />

near <strong>the</strong> Registration Desk. Feel free to leave messages <strong>of</strong><br />

interest to o<strong>the</strong>r meeting participants.<br />

Poster In<strong>for</strong>mation<br />

Set-Up / Removal<br />

There are two Poster Sessions during <strong>the</strong> Meeting and<br />

posters have been allocated to ei<strong>the</strong>r one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> sessions<br />

based on poster <strong>the</strong>mes. Poster presenters must set-up and<br />

remove <strong>the</strong>ir posters during <strong>the</strong> following times.<br />

Session 1<br />

Set-up: Tuesday, April 24, between 7:00 and 10:15<br />

Remove: Wednesday, April 25, between 17:20 and 18:00<br />

Session 2<br />

Set-up: Friday, April 27, between 7:00 and 10:15<br />

Remove: Saturday, April 28, between 15:00 and 16:00<br />

In<strong>for</strong>mation on Poster Authors (Lead), Poster Numbers and<br />

Poster Titles begins on page 34. For a complete copy <strong>of</strong> all<br />

<strong>the</strong> poster abstracts, a limited supply <strong>of</strong> printed abstracts is<br />

available <strong>for</strong> purchase at <strong>the</strong> Registration Desk. Digital<br />

copies can be downloaded from <strong>the</strong> Member Only section<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> NCM Website.<br />

Easy reference Poster Floor Plans <strong>for</strong> each session can be<br />

found on <strong>the</strong> inside back cover <strong>of</strong> this program.<br />

Staff<br />

NCM staff from De Armond Management can be identified<br />

by ribbons on <strong>the</strong>ir name badges. Feel free to ask any one<br />

<strong>of</strong> our staff <strong>for</strong> assistance.<br />

Daycare Services<br />

The conference hotel provides Child care services at a<br />

cost <strong>of</strong> 25 Euros per hour. If you are interested in this<br />

service, please visit <strong>the</strong> Hotel Concierge located at <strong>the</strong><br />

Hotel Front Desk.<br />

Internet Services<br />

NCM has arranged some excellent package deals <strong>for</strong><br />

internet access throughout <strong>the</strong> Hilton (ie bedroom, meeting<br />

space and public space). Should you wish to access <strong>the</strong><br />

internet during <strong>the</strong> conference, you must purchase one <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> internet packages. Please note, <strong>the</strong>se internet<br />

connections are IP specific, so are only accessible to 1<br />

computer. If you are interested in purchasing an internet<br />

package, please inquire at <strong>the</strong> Registration Desk.<br />

No Smoking Policy<br />

Aside from a few bedrooms on <strong>the</strong> third floor, smoking is<br />

not permitted inside <strong>the</strong> Hilton Molino Stucky. Smoking<br />

areas are located outside <strong>the</strong> building.<br />
