Luis Hontiveros captivated the crowd not just with his good looks but also his smart
pitch for his Aunt, Risa Hontiveros, when he was spotted on the campaign trail in the
last May elections will now ablaze the Cover of Village Pipol’s November issue. Let
his first ever photoshoot with Village Pipol heat up the “almost-cuddle-season”!
How do you compare traveling before being in the showbiz scene to now?
- Modesty aside though I’m not that famous yet before I started doing showbiz it was no issue
for me to take public transportation, I mean no one really minds where I am what ride I take but
now somehow things changed because sometimes when people recognizes me they would ask
photos with me & I still get overwhelmed coz there are still people who doesn’t know me yet & I
still get shy when that happens coz ever since I’m a low profile kind of guy.
How did your celebrity status affect your current lifestyle?
- Well nothing has changed much. Aside from when I go to public places, I still do my usual
routines with my friends & family. I guess I just dress more nicely now hehe before I don’t really
care LOL
What’s your favorite travel destination?
- Cebu is my favorite by far.
How many times have you visited that place?
- More than 5 times now I usually go there for the Sinulog Festival it has become
my yearly ritual & also I made some good local friends & I have a few
relatives there as well.
What are the 5 must-have things in your travel pack?
- Phone, Ipad, Charger for iphone & ipad, Personal care kit &
Sunglasses
Whats your worst traveling experience? Were you able to enjoy it
after that experience or it really ruined the entire trip?
- I guess it would be that time when me & my squad attempted to go
to Fortune Island, Batangas but we didn’t make it to the island coz in
the middle of our boat ride the weather started to get bad. Strong winds
& big waves started coming & our boat was just too small for it then the
owner of the boat suggested to go to a resort but we were only allowed
to stay on the side of it or else we need to pay but we cant just pay coz we
need to make a reservation first so when we got there the sun was back we
just played football along the shore & just swam with the locals. It was fun
but when we got back to the docks we found out that we were scammed &
there was a legitimate commercial boat that could’ve taken us to our original
destination. But we all still enjoyed.
What are the things you look first for when traveling? Is it food stops,
museums, party place etc.?
- Food stops hehe I always ask around or google what’s the local
delicacy of the place I’m visiting.
Share us your most fun travelling fun travelling experience?
- Sinulog Festival in Cebu City every year is amazing in different ways.
Would you rather travel with a large group, with special someone, or
alone?
- With special someone or my squad or both.
If you got a free trip to somewhere, everything covered for a week, where
would that be? Why?
-Greece because I am just simply amazed by the history it holds behind
those astonishing architectural designs.
Who do I want to be with in that dream travel?
- My special someone.
