Summer is all about ease but you don’t want to throw style
out the door with it. It’s all in the small details - an unusual
use of materials, a different finish on a hem or a reference
to the 70’s and 80’s that isn’t literal but rather makes a nod
to the best of the decade. Work these eight must-haves into
your wardrobe, and everyone will be keeping an eye on you for all
the right reasons this Summer.
Not Your High-School Denim Skirt
Frayed white denim pencil skirt.
Frayed edged denim is all the rage now - take it one step further
with a denim pencil skirt. What’s the difference this time
around? The longer, leaner silhouette makes it less ‘junior’ and
the frayed edge makes it, well, edgier. And yes, go ahead and
dress it up for work.
Colour-Blocking Isn’t
Just About Colour
Colour-block bracelet with different materials.
Colour-blocking was introduced into our fashion lexicon
seasons ago. Now, go for a more sophisticated approach with
colour-blocked materials on a bracelet. Mix different woods or
or different plastics.
Show Less To Show More
Think covering up is matronly? Think again.
The once thought of ‘matronly’ sister to the bikini is all grown up
thanks to it’s reference to the 80’s one piece. Go high on the thigh
for an elongated leg.
