Zara aspires to increase and
enhance the quality of Women’s
participation in the tourism
sector through aquiring the
“Gender Equity Seal”
The participation rate of women in the tourism sector
is 10.5%, one of the lowest ratios in the world.
As per the statistics of the World Travel and Tourism
Council (WTTC) and the International Labour
Organization (ILO), the rate of women’s involvement in
the global tourism industry is 46%.
