We have a small monthly Bible Study group and a small weekly Meditation group. Our annual<br />
number of confirmation candidates is around 10 and includes both young people and adults. We<br />
have introduced the process whereby those who are baptised are welcome, after preparation, to<br />
receive communion prior to confirmation. We are aware of the need for “small groups” and are<br />
currently developing these around a pastoral care model which, we hope, will generate a call for<br />
something more intentionally discipleship based.<br />
We have a Vocations Group for anyone considering a call to authorised and/or licensed ministry. A<br />
dozen people meet regularly and some are beginning to explore ordination.<br />
“Journey into Science” brings debates about science and technology into church and occasionally<br />
focuses overtly on issues of science and religion. The Chaotic Pendulum is a visible sign this<br />
exploration.<br />
