SPECIAL EVENTS<br />
• HOLIDAY RUBBER STAMPING 101 - Monday, <strong>December</strong> 5 th , 6 PM,<br />
Meeting Room. Learn how to use rubber-stamping to add a beautiful,<br />
personal touch to holiday tags, gift bags or greeting cards. Materials will<br />
be provided. Those attending the program must be aged 15 or older.<br />
Reservations required.<br />
• HOLIDAY MUSIC WITH STRING THEORY - Monday, <strong>December</strong> 12 th ,<br />
6:30 PM, Meeting Room. An all-string ensemble of violins, violas, cellos<br />
and a bass violin, String Theory String Orchestra will be joined by<br />
vocalist Amanda Hart Bassett in performing a variety of seasonal music,<br />
from pops to classical. This performance is made possible through the<br />
generous support of the Friends of the Bob Lutts <strong>Fulshear</strong>/Simonton<br />
Branch Library.<br />
• BOOK CLUB - The book clubs will not meet in <strong>December</strong>. They will<br />
resume their regular schedule in January.<br />
Weekly CHILDREN’S PROGRAM<br />
• Toddler Time - Tuesdays at 10:15 AM, offers caregiver/child activities,<br />
stories and songs for older babies, from 12 to 36 months of age. Toddler<br />
Time will take place on <strong>December</strong> 6 th only.<br />
• Story Time - Wednesdays at 10:15 AM, 3 to 6 years of age, presents<br />
stories, movies and participate in age-appropriate craft activities. Story<br />
Time will take place on <strong>December</strong> 7 th only.<br />
• After-School Breaks - 2 nd Thursday at 4:30 PM. Crafts, movies,<br />
stories for school-aged children in grades 1 through 5. The program on<br />
<strong>December</strong> 8 th will be “Repurposed Pages.” Materials for this program<br />
are provided courtesy of the Friends of the Bob Lutts <strong>Fulshear</strong>/Simonton<br />
Branch Library.<br />
SPECIAL YOUTH EVENTS<br />
AMUSEMENT PARK ADVENTURES - Wednesday, <strong>December</strong> 28 th , 1-2:30<br />
PM, Meeting Room. Teens in grades 6 through 8 are invited to attend<br />
this special LEGO® event presented by Snapology. Teens will use their<br />
imaginations and creativity to design an amusement park. Using LEGO®<br />
TECHNIC® bricks and other building materials, they will transform their<br />
designs into a colorful recreation of roller coasters and other exciting<br />
rides! Seating is limited and reservations are required. This special teen<br />
event was made possible by donations given in memory of Cindy Ruggeri,<br />
who passed away in 2015 after a brief illness. Ruggeri was a beloved<br />
member of the FBCL family for many years.<br />
