Each home will feature a different silent auction basket. Taylor High
School students and their parents will also decorate trees to be raffled
off on Friday night.
Tickets for the Holiday Home Tour can be purchased after November 1,
2016 for $15 from Hauerland’s Store at 1648 South Mason Road or at the
Senior Office of James E. Taylor High School. Additionally, tickets can be
purchased or questions asked at thsprojectgrad17@yahoo.com. Money
raised will help seniors celebrate their 2017 graduation by offering a safe
haven with friends and teachers.

STORY OF OLIVER! Adults and children of all ages will enjoy the music
and show. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM,

NATURE PROGRAMS FOR PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN
SATURDAYS IN NATURE
This program is held on the second Saturday of each month at the Edith
L. Moore Nature Sanctuary. Arrive anytime between 9 and 11:30 AM. The
program ends at 12 noon. A guided nature walk will begin at 10 AM. No
reservations required. Donations are encouraged. This is a “whole family”
program; parents or other adult guardians should participate with their
children. Upcoming programs include November: Tree Walk(Leaf Printing
Art). December program on Winter in the Woods(Nature Ornaments).
THE TITMOUSE CLUB
The Titmouse Club is a nature program for children ages 2 ½ to 5
sponsored by the Houston Audubon Docent Guild. The program is
offered every Tuesday and Wednesday morning, 10 to 11 AM, from
mid-September until mid-May at the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary,
440 Wilchester Boulevard. Each week features a different nature theme
and may include nature talks, stories, hands-on activities and walks in

look under Audubon Docents. The cost is $5 per child per session or a
5-session card can be purchased for $20. The child must be accompanied

AFTER SCHOOL NATURE EXPLORERS CLUB
Nature Explorers Club is designed for school-age children (ages 6-10, K-5 th )
who are interested in investigating the natural world. Each month we will
explore a different ecology topic, focusing on our own native plants and
