Reindeer Festival
On December 3 rd (Saturday) 2-4 PM, we’re hosting Santa in our new
clubhouse located on 3838 Webster Woods. This street is in Raintree
Village’s newest section near Clay Road.
Come out, bring the family and meet Santa. We’re taking free pictures.
Look for email alerts, the HOA website and banners for additional
information as the scheduled dates approach.

You should have received a letter in the mail introducing our new
communication system “Blackboard Connect.” We are excited to
announce that the sign up is now live. Please go to our website at www.
wdmtexas.com/districts-served/whcmud-no-7 and click on the “One
Step Notification” button. You can sign up for email, text or telephone
alerts. We will also be posting notices of outage on the website so save
the site for future reference.
Bandit Signs -
A Nuisance and Litter to Our Streets
We all have seen them, the small rectangle signs on street corners
advertising workout classes, carpet cleaning and selling your home
among other things. Did you know these are illegal? Even more shocking,
these signs have been illegal since 2007 with fines of $500 to $1,000 per
violation!
There are also reports of these being used to target homes for theft! So
why are there so many still out cluttering our intersections? Simple,
there are just too many to deal with in an ever growing community and
not enough reporting of the violators.
THIS IS YOUR CALL TO ACTION. Through education and training offered
by the Harris County Attorney’s Office, any resident of the county can
serve as a Sign Ranger. This certification permits an individual to remove
these signs from county land and beautify our community. Furthermore,
Rangers report businesses who illegally place signs and held accountable
for their neglect of the law.

Volunteers Needed
You are reminded of our standing committees and community events
need ongoing volunteers, including students seeking to meet any
requirements such as scholarships or school district organizations. The
committees and events are as follows:
• Pool Committee (organizes Official Pool Opening Party & monitors
activities during pool season)
• Crime Watch Committee (organizes National Night Out)
• Newsletter - submit articles
• Yard of the Month - select section winners
• Reindeer Festival
• Community Day
Volunteering is an opportunity to make Raintree Village a better
