“Success is a Journey not a destination. The doing is often more important
than the outcome.”
-Arthur Ashe
The last six months on the new campus was nothing short of an exciting roller coaster ride. A
joyful ride with our learners, co teachers , office and other helping staff and the principal. We
have been a part of a myriad activities spanning from academics and sports to Community
services. Each activity planned had a definite influence in moulding our learners to conscientious
individuals.
The teachers have spared no efforts in ensuring the Cambridge curriculum is effectively delivered
to the children. The Principal and team of teachers in both Primary and Secondary have
worked in unison to achieve the overall development of our learners. Participating in local and
International competitions and giving our learners an extra edge is what we have believe in.
The airy classrooms, the spacious patios, the smiling didis every ready to help, the dutiful lift
attendants and the ambience in general have had a very positive impact on our learners. Internalization
of education and co curricular activities is the core value at RBKIS. Our mission is
to help students develop a world view, see and analyze issues from various perspectives, understand
the broad range of human experience and celebrate the diversity of the human spirit.
I sincerely wish to thank our stake holders- our parents who have extended a whole hearted
support in helping us flourish in the new Premise.
Dear Parents,
Life is a succession of moments with each energized day bearing its own gift. To know how
to untie the ribbons and live each one in the pursuit of excellence is to succeed. RBKIS
community strives to enable learners to glow and blossom into responsible, world citizens.
We have seen ample evidence of cross culture exposure and Internationalism in homerooms
and outside all this while. The caring and sensitized ethos of RBKIS has helped our
learners evolve into caring and achieving members of society. As a unit, we continually
reflect on our practice and focus on improving the teaching and learning environment.
This is an on-going endeavour and we are committed to the cause.
We do not expect them to just know, but to experience and be trail blazers to carve their
own niche.
with fun. It’s been such a
pleasure to be associated with
Culture is the characteristics and
The Taliban said- Music was crime,
Women going to the market were
against the religion, Girls going to
school was a bad thing. Everyone
was scared of them except one girl-
Malala Yousafzai, a 10 year old girl
belonging from the small town of
Mingora in Swat Valley. She decided
to raise her voice to have her right to
be educated when she was shot pointblank,
at the age of 14, causing millions
of people from around the world
to support her. Miracle it is that after
surviving her almost death, now
she is the youngest Noble Prize winner
for raising her voice and helping
out other girls. All this wasn’t easy
for her. She is now an inspiration to
all the women. ‘I am Malala’, is an
amazing book which should be read
by all those who want to be inspired.
It’s a book which will leave you
amazed at how this small town girl
became a household. I have started to
believe that “One child, one teacher,
one book and one pen can change the
world”. Be inspired!
