The Taliban said- Music was crime,
Women going to the market were
against the religion, Girls going to
school was a bad thing. Everyone
was scared of them except one girl-
Malala Yousafzai, a 10 year old girl
belonging from the small town of
Mingora in Swat Valley. She decided
to raise her voice to have her right to
be educated when she was shot pointblank,
at the age of 14, causing millions
of people from around the world
to support her. Miracle it is that after
surviving her almost death, now
she is the youngest Noble Prize winner
for raising her voice and helping
out other girls. All this wasn’t easy
for her. She is now an inspiration to
all the women. ‘I am Malala’, is an
amazing book which should be read
by all those who want to be inspired.
It’s a book which will leave you
amazed at how this small town girl
became a household. I have started to
believe that “One child, one teacher,
one book and one pen can change the
world”. Be inspired!
