It was a pleasure to meet the delegates, and we had terrifically
productive and positive interactions with them.
Inshallah, we will be visiting the Turkish delegation’s
center in Istanbul in the coming months. We were also
invited by two religious orders, one in Germany and
other in France, to come and speak to them about Islam
and interfaith cooperation.
The center has a radio talk show in which Religious
subjects are discussed. Samina and I were interviewed for
20 minutes about Holy Prophet Muhammad and Lahore
Ahmadiyya Islamic Society and our efforts to present the
true enlightened and peaceful teachings of Islam.
Two months prior to the conference, we visited
Swamiji at the center to make arrangements to ship the
French Holy Quran and The Religion of Islam from the center
to libraries, universities, theology and Islamic Studies
professors in France. We had discussed the transport of
the books and their storage in the center prior to packing
and shipping. Swamiji had not only graciously agreed to
Iftar food.
provide us the facilities for packing and shipping the
books, but he had also offered to help us in preparing the
packages for shipping.
We thank Almighty Allah for people such as Swamiji
who open their hearts to invite people of different religions
to propagate what is good for mankind from their
center. May Allah Taala reward him for his good deeds.
