NOMAN AND I VISITED THE LAHORE
AHMADIYYA ISLAMIC SOCIety Center in
Cagayan de Oro, Philippines from
March 11-20, 2016. By the Grace of
Almighty Allah, the Jama’at is doing
well.
Sister Nena Mendoza is doing an
excellent job of managing the Anjuman’s
affairs, and Brother Jafar and
his family who stay at the center
take good care of the facility.
Educational activities at the Center
include regular Sunday classes in
which Noman gives a weekly dars of
the Holy Quran and lectures on
Islam and the Ahmadiyya Movement,
via skype.
It was our pleasure to meet members
of the Movement in Cagayan de
Oro.
We visited the Center in the
evenings daily, performing our
Maghrib and Isha prayers with the
members, and holding informal discussions
with them about Islam and
the Ahmadiyya Movement. In one

Conference
Sister Nena organized a conference
on Saturday March 14, which
was attended by about 60 people, a
mix of Muslims and Christians
including students from the Engineering
College invited by Brother
Jafar.
The program began with a Quran
recitation by Brother Jafar. Sister
Nena, who was conducting the conference,
introduced the speakers and
