freshman, seeing action on special team coverage<br />

units and as inside linebacker... First career appearance came in win over<br />

Austin Peay... Registered two total tackles.<br />

HIGH SCHOOL Senior captain... Two-way starter as junior and senior...<br />

Helped CPA to 3A state championship as senior, starting at RB and LB...<br />

Rushed for 887 yards and 19 TDs, and registered nearly 100 tackles,<br />

including four sacks, for 15-0 Lions squad in 2014... Dominated state title<br />

game, rushing for 124 yards and posting 15 tackles en route to Offensive<br />

MVP honors... Named First Team 3A All-State RB, District MVP, and<br />

All-Midstate by Tennessean... As junior, topped squad with 19 rushing TDs<br />

and contributed 95 tackles for 14-1 team.<br />

2015 Holden became a stalwart on the Commodore<br />

offensive line in his fourth year on campus... Started<br />

every game protecting the quarterback's blindside as left tackle... Projected<br />

as starting right tackle only to move to opposite tackle slot during preseason<br />

drills when Andrew Jelks suffered season-ending injury... Played more<br />

than 870 offensive snaps, second most on OL behind senior center Spencer<br />

Pulley... Credited with 33 pancake and 13 domination blocks during the<br />

season, and earned or shared team's offensive lineman of the week honors<br />

on three occasions.<br />

2014 Holden put together an excellent season during his first year as a<br />

starter on the offensive line... After earning limited snaps during the 2013<br />

season, Holden played in all 12 games, seeing action at right tackle...<br />

Earned 10 starts during the season, with first career start coming against<br />

Ole Miss... After being inserted into the lineup, registered 26 pancake<br />

blocks and eight domination blocks.<br />
