soccer, and his father tells me that he became more confident. At the
same time he used to have occasional stomach pains..... He had no
more stomach problems since the treatment.”
Doctors do not know what the diagnosis is but appears like neuromuscular
condition – the child cannot talk, hear and has a lack
of motor skills.
Mother’s report
“My daughter’s speech therapist stopped me the other day in school
and was all excited about how she cooperated with her for 45 minutes.
She answered everything correctly (pointed to pictures) and even said
a word. Her agitation was gone a week after your treatment, as well.”
I am noticing that B. is becoming more communicative and she expresses
her needs on her own, without being asked what she wants.
I have a feeling she wants to speak and uses new sounds for it. If I
show her how to do something and tell her that she should look there,
not at me, she listens and then actually does what I ask her to do
(simple things, to be sure). Small changes but very positive never the
less. First I want to tell you that we are noticing further small, but
frequent changes. Bogdana, her riding therapist, notes the following
changes: riding facing backwards she no longer shakes like she used
to, she has a nice posture and sits comfortably on a horse without a
saddle. She swims faster and further than before. She started playing
with the ball again and she jumps around in the water, which
she didn’t do for a long time. She is generally more active and expresses
herself much more spontaneously.”
Young Child
For the first time, this evening, I worked with a young boy aged 3. It
was the MOST amazing experience with him! He was SO excited to
sit and let me “do my thing” He REALLY liked the part at the end,
smiling at his mom and me. I was so surprised at his willingness
to sit and let me warm his head and heart with very little fidgeting.
During the session, he said, “Mommy, I think she’s trying to get my
cough to come out....” in the most excited voice you could imagine.
After we finished up and mom was getting him situated in the car, she
turns to me and said, “He really enjoyed that! He’s already asking when
we are coming back!”
