There are essays that say, in tens of thousands of words, that “the beauty in all<br />
this, is that we don’t know,” and you disagree, annoyed. The scientist side of you<br />
thinks in numbers and understands that knowing is always better, even though it<br />
may not always be beautiful.<br />
You could make a list, but it would be too long. You’d always want to add<br />
another line, and wouldn’t be able to brush your teeth or make a phone call for fear<br />
of missing something. In fact, the best things may happen because you brush your<br />
teeth and make phone calls. The list would be too long, you say to yourself, when<br />
it’s gotten far too short. Too long! you shout, when it seems to have disappeared<br />
completely.<br />
