generated dur<strong>in</strong>g the year. Cont<strong>in</strong>uous effort<br />
has been put <strong>in</strong> to the system to achieve<br />
maximum yield on each rupee gett<strong>in</strong>g<br />
utilised for rais<strong>in</strong>g funds.<br />

Thematic utilisation of funds<br />
Year 2015-16 witnessed 2 major calamities<br />
and we were able to mount life-sav<strong>in</strong>g relief<br />
response for <strong>child</strong>ren and their families and<br />
also worked extensively <strong>in</strong> the Disaster<br />
Risk Reduction field. The total expenses<br />
under these accounted for 24% of our total<br />
Programme Implementation expenditure.<br />
Other thematic areas of expenses were<br />
Health and Nutrition at 32%, Child<br />
Protection at 28%, Education at 8% and 8%<br />
on the Other Grant related expenditure.<br />
