USTA JR TEAM TENNIS, SMALL GROUPS/GROUP WORKSHOPS, PLAY DAYS, CAMPS, LESSONS
• USTA Jr Team Tennis brings kids together in teams to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams across
Shelby County.
• In addition to the regular clinics, Small Groups (4 players) and Group Workshops will be consistently offered throughout
the year. These groups are geared to the individual needs of the players to reinforce, enhance and speed up development.
• Play Days are events designed to introduce players to competition in a low-pressure setting where results are not emphasized.
The Play Days provide kids with the opportunity to continue to develop and enhance their skills.
• Camps are provided for continuous player development and extra hours on the court during the summer months.
• Lessons are offered to players wanting individual or semi-private instruction with a Tennis Memphis coach to supplement the
JD program and to reinforce, enhance and speed up development.
