Wera Tools Introduces
Kraftform ® Classic Screwdrivers
Adding to its extensive line of highend,
professional-grade screwdrivers,
Wera Tools recently introduced
Kraftform® Classic screwdrivers. This
new line of hand tools is ideal for both
do-it-yourselfers and professionals, and
includes the basic design concepts of its
professional-grade screwdrivers.
These screwdrivers feature the
ergonomic Kraftform Classic handle,
which is shaped to perfectly fit into the
hand and allows for fast and efficient
fastening. The ergonomic shape ensures
high torque transfer and quick repositioning.
The hex-shaped end of the
handle provides anti-roll protection,
preventing the tool from rolling away.
Kraftform Classic screwdriver blades
are made from high-grade tool steel. A
special hardening process makes the
screwdrivers highly wear resistant.
Like other Wera screwdrivers,
Kraftform Classic screwdrivers have a
black point tip that matches the screw
profile perfectly, thus avoiding wear and
damage caused by poor fit.
The new Kraftform Classic line of
screwdrivers fits the following screws:
slotted, Pozidriv, TORX® and Phillips.
Kraftform Classic features also are
available in Wera Tools’ line of VDE
1,000 volt insulated screwdrivers, which
are used for electrical applications.

Custom Tools for Utility Market
Available from Wright Tool
Wright Tool offers specialized hand
tools for the utility market. It also has
capabilities to custom-design hand

tools to meet end users’ demanding
needs that are common to the utility
market.
The Wright Tool lineman’s ratchets,
part no. 3433 and part no. 4433 with
3/8" and 1/2" drives, have a raised cap
that allows linemen to easily change the
turning direction while wearing heavyinsulated
gloves.
The Wright adapter, part no. 4422,
is a 7/16" male hex drive chuck on one
end and a 1/2" male square drive on
another. It is used with hydraulic guns
and allow for quick exchange of socket
sizes used by linemen. Because of its
high-strength steel construction from a
special metallurgy process, Wright
Tool’s model 4422 adapter works on the
toughest of applications.
Wright Tool’s 12-point ratcheting
box wrenches are available in common
lineman size configurations.
For tight areas, the Wright Tool 1/2"
drive compact ratchet (part no. 4401)
has an 8-3/4" short handle, which features
a rubber nitrile handle. The short
handle length allows for tight-space
operations, and the rubber handle provides
“bump protection” and cushion
grip for the lineman.

MIG Welder Provides More
Power, Smoother Starts
The new Miller Millermatic® 180
all-in-one MIG welder features exclusive
Smooth-Start technology to initiate
the arc in a more controlled manner,
providing smooth, spatter-free starts for
improved quality and reduced rework.
The Millermatic 180 (single-phase
230V input; 135 A at 22VDC, 30%
duty cycle output) has enough power to
weld 5/16-in. mild steel in a single pass.
It replaces the Millermatic 175, which
had a 1/4-in. mild steel capability.
The Millermatic 180 also features infinite
voltage control with manual on/off
wire feed speed tracking. When turned
on, wire feed speed tracking automatically
adjusts wire feed speed when the voltage
is adjusted, providing a broader operating
range without having to adjust two
controls. When off, wire feed speed and
voltage controls act independently, which
is preferred by some customers.

Wright Tool Adds Impact Hex Bit
Sockets to Existing Product Line
New impact hex bit sockets are now
available from Wright Tool in 3/8"
drive and 1/2" drive, ranging from 1/8"
to 5/8" sizes, and in metric sizes ranging
from 2mm to 17mm.
Wright Tool’s impact hex bits are
made from 8650 steel and are precision
heat treated to provide high strength
and longer product life.
