Big Red Barn<br />
The Big Red Barn is housed<br />
in an adorable cottage in<br />
downtown Ponchatoula. It’s<br />
not red, it’s not big, and it’s<br />
not a barn- but it is a lot of<br />
fun! Open the front door, and<br />
enter our cheerful play room,<br />
filled with toys. The play<br />
room is used for songs, stories,<br />
rug time, and free play.<br />
Through a pair of French<br />
doors is our art room. The<br />
room is filled with light and color and is perfect for the myriad<br />
of creative art activities that The Big Red Barn has to offer. We<br />
also have another play area, Lily’s Pad, which is used for select<br />
weekend activities and birthday parties.<br />

Camp Moore Confederate Museum<br />
Camp Moore was the largest Confederate training camp in<br />
Louisiana and the only one in the United States still open to the<br />
public. Opened in May 1861 as a site to organize, train and disperse<br />
soldiers from Louisiana to all points of the Confederacy.<br />
